Alternative 1 - Nambeelup Industrial Park? • Create an alternative waste site in a less sensitive area and not on Tamala limestone Alternative 2 - New technology the Remondis method • Use new methods of disposal such as the Remondis method already in use at Henderson where septage is treated & diluted and added to the sewerage system. Alternative 3 - Sewerage Infill • Properly and vigorously pursue WA Government for Sewerage Infill for the 4000 septic tank properties (4% in the whole of Mandurah) Alternative 4 - Stay as is and save money! • We haven’t had a facility for 6 years • Septic tank usage is going down not up • There is a lot of competition - there are already 10 existing licensed liquid waste disposal facilities within 70km of Tims Thicket, Rockingham site is only 45km away.
